One in Kalbarri as a youth worker to begin and deliver youth activities and services in the town. Details are below. Program Coordinator - Geraldton
This role coordinates and delivers various programs and initiatives whilst being involved in shaping and executing our mission. Working closely with our team and stakeholders to drive positive change you'll create detailed program plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure the successful implementation of our regional & local clinics, programs, workshops and fundraising, including delivery with young people.
You will have a relevant qualification/training/education and/or relevant previous experience; Experience in youth or community engagement; Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team; Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative style; Experience working with young people; Ability to engage, network and maintain relationships.
Part-time (min 3 days/wk) or full-time. Please indicate desired arrangements when applying.
Youth and Program Worker - Kalbarri
Part
time (2 days per week) with the probability to increase days per week in 2025. Flexibility exists.
This role is a community Youth Worker position, being the main provider of youth activities and services for young people in Kalbarri under the banner of the Youth Spaces Kalbarri initiative and in partnership with the Kalbarri Development Association and the Kalbarri Sport and Recreation Association.
* Organise and deliver Foundation sport, youth, well-being and workshop programs in schools and community settings within Kalbarri;
* Deliver and organise meaningful after school, weekend and school holiday activities to engage local youth;
* Coordinate events and ongoing programs inclusive of delivery of these programs to ensure engagement and support of youth;
* Connect with young people in Kalbarri in non-organised contexts like the skate park and in activities organised by partners.
